Ladies and gentlemen of Earth I have abandoned you. It's been far to long since I updated and shared valuable insider information about Third Productions and Lucidity. But in my absence I believe I have uncovered the hidden reason I lay dormant....
I was trying to hard.
Simple as that. But I have a new approach, I call it my "I don't give a f@ck!" approach. Granted I just censored myself, but you get the idea.
To begin with, I'm writing a short series about the past few months. Projects that we completed, places we went, and the many fuck ups along the way. Look I'm uncensored now.
Captain Squeegee Records First Single in 2 years IN A PYRAMID
This was probably one of the coolest things we did all summer. My words will do little to explain how amazing Pyramix Studios is. It's 50% spaceship, 50% pyramid, 50% recording studio and 150% bad ass. Take the Virtual Tour right now to gain a brief understanding of its majesty.
Squeegee recorded the song "Your Own Invention" which is comprised of the different melodies heard throughout the Lucidity Web Saga. I think one of the best parts of everything was the ridiculous 90's nostalgia of having a band record the theme song for a show. Squeegee is my Nerf Herder.
I could go on and on about the 2 days in the Pyramid, but luckily Danny was nice enough to edit together a Behind The Scenes Video from some footage I shot. If you want a closer look at the Pyramid check it out.
I also wanna throw a huge shout out to Nick Gasmena who was the Recording Engineer on the single and is the man that let us in the Pyramid. Nick was a champ the entire time, which is saying a lot when you work with a band as big as Squeegee and with music as layered.
Also make note of the insane noises in the background. These were all created by our roommate/collaborator/business partner/friend/guru John Knott. Click on his name to download all of his music FOR FREE!!!!
I'm hoping that we can go back to Pyramix Studios and record another single and maybe even an album someday. I know Squeegee is almost out of debt, so that day may be coming... Also, whaddya think about the pyramid being a dream location? Huh, huh? Perfect.
This concludes my first real "blog" attempt. I hope it was satisfactory and didn't leave a bad taste in your digital mouths. Don't make this a 1 night stand, come back for Sean's Fall Update #2. I promise, I get better each time.

Happy Dreaming,
